2. About Folkscape Live
Folkscape Live is a digital streaming platform providing access to live streamed performances, on demand video content, community features, and related digital media focused on folk and roots music.
Our platform exists to support artists fairly. We share 50% of all platform revenue directly with the artists, performers, rights holders, and content partners who make the platform possible.
Content may be available as:
• Subscription access
• Pay per view events
• On demand streaming
• App based offline viewing
Availability of content may change at any time.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Folkscape Live.
If you create an account, purchase content, post comments, or participate in community features, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children using the platform.
4. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
You agree not to:
• Share your account outside your household
• Attempt to bypass security or payment systems
• Access content unlawfully
• Use automated systems to scrape or copy content
• Interfere with the operation of the platform
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
5. Community Guidelines
We want Folkscape Live to be welcoming, respectful, and enjoyable for everyone.
When using comments, chat, forums, or community features, you agree not to post content that is:
• Abusive or threatening
• Discriminatory or hateful
• Harassing or bullying
• Sexually explicit
• Illegal or defamatory
• Spam or self promotional advertising
We may remove content or suspend accounts where necessary.
6. Subscriptions and Purchases
Folkscape Live may offer subscriptions, pay per view access, rentals, or other digital purchases.
Subscription options may include fixed term plans such as 3 month, 6 month, or 12 month memberships.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. If cancelled, your access will continue until the end of your prepaid subscription period.
Prices may change from time to time, but changes will not affect active prepaid subscription periods.
7. Digital Content and Refunds
By purchasing digital content or subscriptions through Folkscape Live, you agree that access to digital content may begin immediately.
Under UK consumer law, your statutory cancellation rights for digital content may end once streaming, viewing, or downloading has started.
If you experience technical issues or are unhappy with the service, we encourage you to contact us so we can help resolve the issue.
As part of our customer support approach, we may offer goodwill solutions including extended access or account credit.
For pay per view livestream purchases, if we fail to deliver more than 70% of the advertised livestream due to a fault within our control, affected customers will automatically receive a refund.
Refund decisions remain at our discretion where permitted by law.
8. Streaming Quality and Availability
We aim to provide reliable, high quality streaming services. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error free access at all times.
Streaming quality may vary depending on:
• Internet connection speed
• Device capability
• Geographic location
• Network congestion
• Third party platform performance
Scheduled maintenance, technical issues, or events outside our control may occasionally affect availability.
9. Offline Viewing
Some content may be available for offline viewing through official Folkscape Live apps.
Offline downloads are provided solely for personal use within the app and do not transfer ownership of the content.
Downloaded content may become unavailable if licences expire or subscriptions end.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on Folkscape Live, including video, audio, graphics, branding, text, and software, is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
Content remains the property of Folkscape Live, the relevant artists, rights holders, or licensors.
You may not:
• Copy or redistribute content
• Record streams
• Publicly screen content
• Sell or commercially exploit content
• Modify or reproduce content without permission
Personal, private viewing only is permitted.
11. User Content
If you submit comments, forum posts, reviews, or other content to Folkscape Live, you grant us a non exclusive licence to display and moderate that content on the platform.
You remain responsible for anything you post.
We reserve the right to remove user content that breaches these Terms.
12. Privacy
Your use of Folkscape Live is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
We process personal data in accordance with UK data protection laws, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
13. Third Party Services
Folkscape Live may contain links to third party websites, services, or social media platforms.
We are not responsible for third party content, services, or policies.
14. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Folkscape Live shall not be liable for:
• Indirect or consequential losses
• Loss of profits or revenue
• Loss of data
• Service interruptions outside our reasonable control
Our total liability relating to any purchase will not exceed the amount paid for that purchase.

We may update, change, suspend, or remove features or content from Folkscape Live at any time.
We may also update these Terms occasionally to reflect legal, technical, or business changes.
Where changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to notify users.
Continued use of the platform after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
